The black raised text and pictogram are 1/32” engraved acrylic tactile with bevelled edges. The top layer of the sign is 0.032” thick anodized brushed aluminum for an extremely durable finish and an aesthetic appearance. This aluminum face is mounted onto a solid black acrylic backing panel of your choice. Backing is available in a selectable thickness of 1/8” or 1/4”. California Grade 2 Braille is embedded into the top aluminum layer using the specialized Raster® Method.
Installing Your ADA Sign
Begin by locating the correct mounting placement of your ADA Sign. Ensure you are meeting Federal ADA/ADAAG and California Title 24 requirements by following our ADA Sign Placement Guidelines.
Clean the mounting area and ensure a dirt-free surface for a permanent installation.
Use an erasable marker or pencil to lightly mark the mounting surface where the bottom and left edges of the sign would sit.
Remove the backing paper from the double-sided foam mounting tape that comes pre-attached to the backside of the ADA sign. For extra strength, add dabs of clear adhesive silicone.
Place a spirit (bubble) level aligned with the bottom-edge marking on the surface.
Place the sign on the level and align it’s left edge with the left-edge marking on the surface.
Confirm that the spirit level is horizontal and the sign is parallel to the floor.
Press and hold the ADA sign firmly against the wall for 30 seconds.

Returns If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase from ADAsignstore.com, you can return your qualifying item(s) for a full refund within 90 days of purchase. Returns products must be UNUSED and in their original condition as received by you, the buyer. Returned products that do not satisfy these requirements may not qualify for a refund. If you have received defective, damaged or incorrect products, please contact us directly.
Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7-10 business days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable) If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
